By using Yukta, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Yukta ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Prayukta ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer of Yukta.

2. Description of Service

Yukta is a balance-driven task management application designed to help you organize tasks across life domains and maintain work-life harmony. The App includes:

  • Task and project management features
  • Balance algorithm and priority suggestions
  • On-device AI processing for natural language input
  • Optional iCloud sync across your devices
  • Premium features available through in-app purchases

3. Free and Pro Tiers

Free Tier: Yukta offers a free tier with the following limitations:

  • Up to 3 projects
  • Up to 100 active tasks
  • Access to core balance algorithm and task management

Pro Tier: Upgrading to Yukta Pro unlocks:

  • Unlimited projects and tasks
  • Home screen widgets
  • Zen Mode for distraction-free focus
  • AMOLED theme for OLED displays

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Yukta Pro is available through the following purchase options:

  • Weekly Subscription: $0.99/week, auto-renewing
  • Monthly Subscription: $1.99/month, auto-renewing
  • Annual Subscription: $19.99/year, auto-renewing (save 17%) - includes 7-day free trial
  • Lifetime Purchase: $29.99 one-time payment, never expires

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support or use the "Report a Problem" feature in your purchase history. We do not have direct access to payment processing or the ability to issue refunds.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App to store or transmit malicious code or illegal content
  • Maintain the security of your device and iCloud account

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Yukta is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • All your data is stored locally on your device
  • iCloud sync is optional and uses your personal iCloud account
  • AI features run entirely on-device
  • We do not collect analytics, usage data, or personal information

8. Intellectual Property

Yukta, including its code, design, logos, and content, is the intellectual property of Prayukta. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRAYUKTA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your devices. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of India.
